I've posted this image before, and decided to do so again. It's one of my favorites, especially given the delight and surprise that brought about it's capture. In the winter of 2008, I traveled to Bryce Canyon to take shots of the snow laden wonder of that area. This "moocher" came bounding down the log from seemingly nowhere, hoping for some kind of handout.

Pacific Northwest - Autumn Rain Storm

While traveling to Port Angeles this past evening, I stopped briefly along the side of the road to check something in the car. When I looked up, this was the view (minus the car), through the windshield. Waited for a car to come along, hoping that I could time the shot and catch it just right between the wiper blades clearing away the rain drops :)

Although not every image taken is that interesting or "great" by others standards, it's interesting how I've been involved in photography for so long that I can instantly see composition . . leading lines, rule of thirds, etc. This is an iPhone shot of my lovely sister just prior to picking up her granddaughter from school. Probably a "good" thing that it didn't occur to me to turn on my iPhone camera while it was mounted for GPS use along the way from Albuquerque to Washington. I'd probably have taken 1000 images :)

Turned the phone at an angle and captured whatever I saw that was interesting along the way, after entering Oregon, near Portland . .

A few weeks back, I was outside doing a video recording of a huge thunderstorm. The lightning was pretty awesome. Later, decided to take out the pro camera and do some long exposures, just to see what I could capture :)
